Contribute! Tri-Cities C.A.R.E.S. is an all-volunteer organization with 501(c)(3) tax- exempt status. We have received full status as an Intervenor in the EFSEC Adjudication. Donations are needed to pay legal and expert witness fees during the adjudication process.

Please Donate. We need money to pay for legal services. we have engaged Rick Aramburu, a longtime land use and environmental attorney based in Seattle with EFSEC experience at Whistling Ridge and other energy projects. We are also engaging expert witnesses to provide testimony on several critical issues during the adjudication process.

Raising the money needed will be possible only with strong community support and coordination. Ask us to explain to you how this project will affect you. Tell us where you are located (address of neighborhood) and we will describe to you the impacts the project will have on that location.

Send in Your Comments! You can tell state legislators that you support the light pollution control bill that will requires the use of aircraft detection lighting systems statewide.

Share the Message! Tell your family, friends and colleagues who will be impacted by this project and are interested in protecting our community, the views we cherish, the wildlife and habitat, and the quality of the environment we enjoy. Write or call your city officials and county commissioners. Write letters to the Tri- City Herald and other media outlets. Sharing the message is critical to our success.
